The international transfer window is now closed and for Arsenal, it can be seen as a very successful period of business which includes the expected acquisition of Thomas Partey.
Mikel Arteta is now well underway in his first full season with the club following his appointment late last year.
The Spaniard has been precise in the areas he wanted to improve in the Gunners squad, and for the most part, he has got his targets.
Houssem Aouar is one that slipped away from Arsenal, with the north London club and Lyon unable to agree on a fee for the talented France midfielder.
However, the seven signings made by Arsenal have certainly given supporters optimism for the remainder of the campaign - helped by a terrific start to the season.
Arteta’s men currently sit fourth in the Premier League table - after three wins from four games so far this season.
Their only defeat so far came at Anfield, to last season’s champions Liverpool, with a spirited performance.
But as Arteta puts his stamp down on the squad, it has meant a summer of turnover and change in London.
That’s why, as well as the seven new players now at the Emirates Stadium, it’s been a window of outgoings too.
Four players have left Arsenal this summer, as they further their careers away from London.
