Adele has split from her husband Simon Konecki after a three year marriage.
The 30-year-old married Konecki, a charity entrepreneur, in 2016 after five years of dating.
The couple married in secret and Adele first publicly addressed the wedding during an acceptance speech at the 2017 Grammys.
In a statement on Friday, the hugely successful singer's representatives Benny Tarantini and Carl Fysh announced the split.
"Adele and her partner have separated," they stated.
"They are committed to raising their son together lovingly. As always they ask for privacy.
"There will be no further comment."

Adele, known for her chart-topping albums 19, 21 and 25, is one of the best-selling artists in the world and has won a string of awards.
She gave birth to her son Angelo in 2012.
The singer had previously revealed that she may be ready to return to London, after four years living in Los Angeles.
In the past 18 months, she has reportedly viewed a £30 million seven-bedroom, seven-bath duplex with 24 hour security but while she 'seemed pleased with what she saw', there has been no further development in her making a move back to her home city.
This followed the first split rumours to surface, some four years ago.

Back then, Adele was believed to be spending more time at her London home while Simon, who is 14 years her senior, has been with pals in Brighton.
They shared a luxury £2.5 million seafront home in Brighton but it was reported at the time that they have hardly seen each other during that time.
She hadn't been pictured with Simon for three months, after they were seen in fancy dress for a Halloween party at the home of chat show host Jonathan Ross.
They looked to have put the rumours about their relationship to bed though, when they were seen at Glastonbury Festival in 2015, looking very loved up.
An onlooker said at the time: "Adele seems in good spirits and was laughing her head off near the bar with a group of friends and Simon. They seem very close and were strolling through the festival together heading towards the Pyramid Stage."
