Adam Johnson's delighted dad has expressed his joy the ex-footballer has been released from jail.
Dave Johnson was pictured leaving his son's mansion in a blacked-out people carrier this morning.
But he told reporters his family was "glad he's home" and his son may make a statement later today.
The former Premier League star, 31, has returned to his gated Castle Eden, Co Durham, property after his jail term ended.
But it's reported authorities will now assess whether Johnson will be able to spend time alone with his daughter, four-year-old Ayala.
The ex-Manchester City winger was caged in 2016 for grooming, kissing and touching a 15-year-old girl while playing for Sunderland.
Johnson was housed at HMP Moorland near Doncaster, South Yorkshire, a tough Category C clink.

But speaking earlier this month, Johnson's ex and mother of Ayala, Stacey Flounders, said the convicted nonce "will make a good dad".
The 29-year-old told The Sun on Sunday: "I know Adam adores Ayla and will come out and be a good dad. Watching them together when she was a baby was wonderful.
"He deserved to go to prison. He needed to change."
Johnson served three years for the child sex offences.
But the former England international was sentenced to six years in 2016.
A court heard he engaged in sexual activity with the besotted 15-year-old fan.
