Aaron Ramsey suffers hamstring injury at Napoli sparking fears Arsenal career could be over

Aaron Ramsey's Arsenal career could be over.

The Welshman limped out of the Gunners' Europa League quarter-final second leg at Napoli with a hamstring problem.

He will leave the club at the end of the season to join Juventus , and there are now fears he has played his last game for the north Londoners.

Ramsey appeared to overstretch in a challenge and immediately clutched his hamstring and signalled to the bench.

A cart to carry him off the pitch came on to the playing surface but Ramsey was able to limp down the tunnel.

Arsenal wanted to keep Ramsey past the end of his current contract this summer, but the two parties could not agree on a new contract.

Emirates chief eventually withdrew the offer on the table allowing the midfielder to speak to potential new clubs in January.

And Italian giants Juventus were the side to agree a deal with Ramsey, who will bring to an end an 11-year Arsenal career.

He joined from Cardiff in 2008 and has gone on to make in excess of 350 appearances for the club.
