Police have closed the westbound lane on the A82 in Dumbarton following a two-car crash.
The incident took place at 9.32pm and officers are currently on the scene.
One lane has also been closed on the eastbound lane.
Diversions are in place.
A police spokesman said: "There has been a crash involving two vehicles on the A82 near to Greenhead Road.
"The westbound carriageway is surently closed and one lane is also closed on the eastbound carriageway.
"Congestion is expected for the forseeable future while emergency services deal with the incident."
