'Break the bank for him' - These Man United fans are loving the Christian Eriksen rumours

Christian Eriksen returned to form for Tottenham in their 4-0 thrashing of Huddersfield Town on Saturday.

With Harry Kane and Dele Alli injured, and Son Heung-min rested, the emphasis was on the Dane to provide the spark against the already relegated outfit.

And he stepped up to the task in fine style.

The Dane has been criticised of late for some mediocre performances, but after a fine display against Crystal Palace in the opening game at the new stadium, and then in the Champions League win over Manchester City, it looks as if he has returned to his best.

Sissoko's outrageous turn, Lucas' celebration & Bacuna's theatrical fall - Spurs moments missed

So it will be alarming to Tottenham fans to see him being linked with an exit once more.

Eriksen and Spurs are yet to come to an agreement over a new contract to keep him at the new Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, with the Dane entering the final year of his current deal at the end of this season.

There have been many links with Eriksen and Real Madrid, but new reports have emerged overnight linking the playmaker with a move to Old Trafford in the summer.

And the Manchester United fans are getting excited.
