'Break the bank' - Chelsea fans send transfer message to Roman Abramovich over Jadon Sancho

Jadon Sancho is one of Europe's most talked about players.

The 19-year-old has impressed for both club and country over the past two seasons, and was linked with a transfer back to the Premier League during the January transfer window, with Chelsea one of the clubs most heavily linked with the teenager.

Speaking earlier in the week, the Borussia Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has given both Chelsea and Manchester United hope that a summer deal could be done for the England international.

Speaking to Bild he said: "The fact is no other club has contacted us so far about Jadon.

"[I can’t] reliably answer today [if Sancho will stay at Dortmund beyond the summer]. What I can say for sure is that he feels very comfortable with us. Otherwise he could not produce such [high-level] performances week after week.

"He is a phenomenon and is now producing top performances. And he rarely takes a break on the pitch, helping the team with their defensive work. He is hard-working and gets the greatest of respect from me."

Sancho was again in the headlines by scoring and assisting in Dortmund's 4-3 loss against Bayer Leverkusen, the winger also had a goal disallowed by VAR.

Chelsea fans watching the game were left impressed with the youngster's performance and had a message for the club.

Sancho has scored 15 goals ans provided 17 assists in 29 appearances for Dortmund so far this season.

The England man is said to be one of the top targets on Chelsea's transfer list over the summer.

He is expected to cost in excess of £100 million should he complete a transfer away from Borussia Dortmund in the summer.
