A Dublin suburb was plunged into a night of chaos after a string of break-ins and car thefts left a trail of destruction in their wake.
Gardai are investigating after a number of houses and cars in Ballyfermot were attacked in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
At least two cars were smashed up along with cash and personal property being stolen in a seemingly co-ordinated attack on a number of properties in the area.
Gardai confirmed to Dublin Live that they are probing all six incidents.
Break-ins and attempted break-ins at houses on Moycullen, Claddagh, and Oranmore Roads are being probed.
A car was taken from a property on Oranmore Road, along with a sum of cash and some personal property.
The car was recovered crashed, a short time later in the vicinity.
The occupant of a house on Moycullen Road reported a person attempting to gain access to the house.
The suspected offender attempted to flee the scene in a car and subsequently collided with a car on the premises.
Two other properties on Moycullen Road, as well as properties on Oranmore and Claddagh Road, were targeted, but thankfully nothing was stolen.
