Breaded fish fillets sold in Ireland recalled from sale over undeclared presence of milk

A food safety alert has been issued for batches of breaded fish fillets over the undeclared presence of milk.

Some packets of Young's Simply Breaded 2 extra large fish fillets have been recalled from sale.

Milk is an ingredient in this product but it has not been declared on the label of some batches.

This may pose a risk to those who have an allergy or intolerance.

A message from the Food Safety Authority of Ireland said: "Young’s Seafood Ltd. is recalling the above batches of Young’s Simply Breaded 2 Extra Large Fish Fillets, as they contain milk which is not declared on the label.

The product comes in a 300g pack size and contains two fillets.
