International friendly
Venue: Sigapore National Stadium

Kick-off time: 1pm BST

Two of Liverpool’s front three line up on opposing sides when Brazil take on Senegal this afternoon.

Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane represent their respective nations in Singapore with Liverpool’s campaign on hold until 20 October – when they travel to Manchester United.

Since the summer’s Copa America success, Brazil have seen their 17-game unbeaten run come to an end following defeat to Peru in September.

Senegal meanwhile are still dusting themselves off after their Africa Cup of Nations final heartbreak.

In addition to Firmino and Mane, Ismaila Sarr, Cheikhou Kouyate and Richarlison are the other Premier League names in line to feature.

Team news

Alisson Becker has remained on Merseyside as he nears his return to club action with Juventus full-back Danilo withdrawing from the squad earlier this month due to injury.

Renan Lodi is in line to make his international debut after an impressive start to the season with Atletico Madrid.

Senegal coach Aliou Cisse has recalled Pape Djibril Diaw, Racine Coly, Sidy Sarr, Mamadou Loum Ndiaye, Famara Diédhiou and Habib Diallo to his squad.

Possible Brazil starting lineup: Ederson; Alves, Thiago Silva, Militao, Lodi; Arthur, Casemiro, Coutinho; Richarlison, Firmino, Neymar

Possible Senegal starting lineup: Gomis; Gassana, Koulibaly, Sane, Wague; N'Diaye, Gueye, Kouyate; Sarr, Mane, Balde

Prediction: Brazil 2-2 Senegal

An entertaining draw on neutral ground.
