Brazil have reportedly demanded four Argentina players are deported from the country just hours ahead of their World Cup qualifier in Sao Paulo.
The two footballing giants are due to kick off at 5pm local time - around 8pm in the UK.
They occupy the top two spots in their section with Brazil winning all of their seven matches so far.
Argentina are hoping to cut the gap between them to just two points in the clash, which will see a repeat of the 2021 Copa America final.
However it's being widely reported that the visitors' plans have been disrupted by late demands from the Brazilian health authorities to see four of their players deported.
It's claimed Argentina players based in the UK are the problem, with local rules imposing a mandatory isolation period on non-Brazilians arriving from the UK.
South American football correspondent Tim Vickery reports that four players did not report that they had been in the UK within the last 14 days.
It's reporteed by Goal's Daniel Edwards that the players in question are Aston Villa duo Emiliano Martinez and Emiliano Buendia, as well as Spurs pair Cristian Romero and Giovani Lo Celso.
Vickery reports that three of those four were due to start the match but will now be unable to.
