Brazil's Civil Aviation Agency Confirms Crew Fit To Fly

Brazil’s Civil Aviation Agency released a statement on Friday confirming that the plane involved in the recent crash, as well as its crew, were deemed fit to fly. The aircraft, an ATR-72 manufactured in 2010, was reported to be in good operating condition with all necessary registration and airworthiness certificates up to date.

At the time of the accident near Vinhedo, the flight was carrying four crew members, all of whom were properly licensed and held valid qualifications, according to the statement. The Civil Aviation Agency emphasized that the crew met all the necessary requirements for operating the flight.
