Brazil manager makes Fabinho claim and can 'feel' change in Liverpool star

Brazil manager Tite has insisted Fabinho is an important player for his squad despite the Liverpool midfielder not being a regular starter.

The 26-year-old has been a key figure for the Reds this season but has struggled to force his way into Brazil side.

He came off the bench in their 1-0 defeat to Argentina on Friday to make what was only his 11th international appearance.

But despite not regularly starting the Liverpool man, Tite has claimed his impact on the squad has been impressive.

" Fabinho has built a positive growing. All the times he played, he played very well," he told a news conference (via Goal ).

"And he brings confidence from his club to the Brazil national squad. In a natural way, and we can feel it. It's not that you can only see it, you can feel it.

"Fabinho is playing his normal football in a role that he also has at Liverpool."

Brazil haven't won since they lifted the Copa America trophy in July which has put the manager under pressure for today's fixture against South Korea.

Fabinho could perhaps have earned his chance to start but nothing seems gauranteed.

With Tite acknowledging the midfielder is playing with confidence, his presence would likely benefit those around him.

But Liverpool will be hoping their man comes back fit and ready for Saturday's game against Crystal Palace where his chance of starting is almost a certainty.
