Brazen thief steals Glasgow Just Eat driver's car as he makes delivery metres away

Police are hunting for a thief who stole a Just East driver's car while he was delivering to a house metres away.

The incident occurred on Tuesday evening around 6:20pm on Abbey Drive in the Jordanhill area in the west end.

The delivery driver entered a house for a split second to put a pizza down on a table as the occupant was holding a baby in her arm when his car - a Seat Ibiza - was stolen.

CCTV cameras from the property show a man running towards the vehicle and driving off.

As a result of the theft, the driver told Glasgow Live he has been left unable to make any income.

Police confirmed that enquiries are ongoing.
