A brazen paedophile created gun-toting social media posts wanting young women to sing duets with him online – while on bail awaiting sentence.
Aaron McIntyre was convicted last month for grooming and making sexual approaches to a girl he believed was 15.
But he was allowed to leave court after a sheriff ordered reports from social workers before sentencing him.
The 39-year-old has been using his extended freedom to search for “friends” on video-sharing platform TikTok. The app, popular with children, allows users to share videos with others.
McIntyre, from Torry, Aberdeen, has been posting footage including videos in which he appears topless and sticks his pierced tongue out.
In others he has sung duets with women likely to have no idea he is a registered sex offender. McIntyre was also seen posing with an air rifle in another video.
His online behaviour has angered parents who have demanded he is removed from social media and reported him to the authorities.
One parent raged: “This man was only in a court a month ago for admitting to messaging a girl he thought was a minor.
“I hope he is thrown into jail. He clearly has no shame and no remorse for what he’s done.”
Another parent said: “He walks about Torry like he doesn’t have a care in the world. It’s sickening.”
McIntyre has deleted his videos and locked down his accounts within the last 48 hours since being exposed as a sex offender by social media users.
In court last month, McIntyre admitted approaches to a girl he believed to be 15 – but was actually an adult engaged in an attempt to snare paedophiles.
