Brazen masked thief stole motorbike from Falkirk garden

Police in Falkirk are in the hunt for a masked thief after an off-road motorcycle was stolen from a garden earlier this week.

Officers were called to Ochil Drive, in the Maddiston area of the town, at around 8:45am on Monday September, 20, following reports of a theft.

The Husqvarna fc450 motocross bike was last seen driving through nearby Easton Drive that morning.

A number of sightings have been reported on social media. (Supplied)

Pictures have since emerged on social media of a person riding the bike wearing what appears to be a white face mask.

Locals have also reported seeing it being driven around Slamannan and Shieldhill.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We received a report of relating to the theft of an off-road motorcycle from Ochil Drive in Maddiston around 8.45am on Monday, 20 September.

"Enquiries into the incident are ongoing."
