Brazen Glasgow woman selling designer leather knee high boots that 'belonged to the Queen'

A Glasgow woman is keeping 'The Barras charm' alive and well online in the digital age it seems by selling off a pair of designer knee-high boots that she says 'once belonged by the Queen'.

The seller posted the L.K. Bennet Brooklyn Brown Croc-Effect leather knee boots on the buying and selling group Glasgow Marketplace on Facebook, slapping a cool £6,000 price tag on them.

This despite the fact the listing, which reads "Pair ae desiner boots for sale £6,000 nae offers & nae time wastin", shows the chocolate coloured boots on the L.K. Bennet website for sale at £450 new.

When quizzed by potential buyers about the huge difference in price, the seller responded by saying that the £450 price "is in euros" and that the boots "wance belonged tae the Queen".

And when asked how she came to be in possession of the boots from the Queen, the seller responded by saying, "She gave me them cos she didny like them n they hurt her feet she came tae ma bit oan Saturday fur a drink wae Phil".

I guess if we were to believe that, then we'd believe anything!

As the saying goes, God Loves a trier.
