A cheeky fan was kicked out of Tristan Thompson ’s basketball game over alleged comments about his partner Khloe Kardashian and her famous clan.
Drama ensued at the Sacramento Kings v Memphis Grizzlies game on Sunday when the basketball fan was reportedly escorted out of the stadium after vocalising their distain for the family who shot to fame on Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
The sports fan was 'tossed' out of the crowd after he started shouting abusive comments about the Kardashian's in the direction of 30-year-old Tristan who was trying to concentrate on the game.
The Daily Memphian reporter Drew Hill tweeted: “Per multiple people around the fan that was thrown out of the Grizzlies game tonight, he was tossed because he was making comments about the Kardashian family in the direction of Tristan Thompson.”
“It was Kings interim coach Alvin Gentry that took issue to the comments first.
"The fan was issued a warning card, but when he returned Gentry went back to the officials and said he wanted him gone, so the fan was kicked out.”
Coach Alvin Gentry seemed to make reference to the incident after the game.
He told reporters at the time: “Obviously it’s not anything that I’m going to tolerate people saying to my players - not without intervening and asking them to be removed.
“They can say anything they want to me or they can boo and do anything they want with the players, but there’s no room for saying inappropriate things in a sporting event. That’s not why you’re there.”
While it hasn't been confirmed what the fan was yelling at Tristan, eagle-eyed admirer's of the 37-year-old reality TV star have guessed that the slurs had something to do with Tristan's cheating rumours.
Khloe and Tristan first started dating back in 2016, but their relationship crumbled when the NBA star was accused of cheating – just days before Khloe gave birth to their daughter True in 2018.
Following the rumours, Khloe made the decision to stay in the relationship with Tristan.
However, heartbreak ensued less than a year later when Tristan he was caught kissing family friend Jordyn Woods at a house party.
Although Khloe dumped him after the shocking revelation emerged, she decided to take him back after the pair grew closer in lockdown while co-parenting their daughter, True.
