Bray Wanderers extend Gary Cronin's contract as manager

Bray Wanderers boss Gary Cronin has signed a two-year contract extension at the Carlisle Grounds.

The former Seagulls player took charge in August 2018 and this season led the club to fifth spot in the First Division.

Cronin said: “I’m really looking forward to building on the foundations that we laid down last season.

"I’m delighted to be part of this club’s transformation and to lead the first team for the next couple of seasons.”

Bray Wanderers chairman Niall O’Driscoll added: “Gary has shown great qualities as a manager and we’re in safe hands with him at the helm.”

The club finished the season just four points behind Cabinteely, who picked up the final of four play-off positions.
