Ricky Waddell isn't hitting the panic button despite Caledonian Braves falling to back-to-back Lowland League defeats.
Jordan Sinclair's second-half free kick was enough to take the points back to Berwick on Saturday and consign Braves to another defeat, having lost to Bonnyrigg Rose on Tuesday night.
Waddell says his side isn't getting the breaks at the moment, and defiantly said they don't fear anybody in the league, as they prepare for a clash with joint-leaders Bo'ness United on Saturday.
He said: "I don't think there's too much between a lot of the teams, I feel that on our day we're more than capable of beating absolutely anybody in the league, but it's just a few bits and bobs not going for us at the moment that we need to work our way through.
"Absolutely no team holds any fear for us; Bo'ness will be dangerous, they will have threats, but so will we, we just need to get back on track a wee bit.
"There's certainly no panic stations from us in terms of our form. A couple of wee bits and bobs haven't gone for us, but we need to get back to it at training on Tuesday and keep working away."
Waddell said he always felt one goal would settle a poor clash at Alliance Park on Saturday, but Berwick made that all-important breakthrough.
He said: "I don't think there was much in the game, I felt it was poor in quality from both sides, I didn't think they really threatened us at all, and I felt really comfortable in the game defensively.
"We had our hand forced, because we only had one first-team player on the bench and I was forced into playing my shape, but the personnel we had was quite defensive-minded, and I felt quite comfortable.
"At the same time we didn't really pose a threat ourselves; we didn't look like scoring in the game, or creating chances like we can do.
"I think it was an even game and I said to the boys at half-time that it was going to be decided by one goal unless something drastically changed in the second half; that proved to be right, but unfortunately for us it was Berwick that got the goal via a free kick.
"It was disappointing, because the points were there to be had for whoever wanted them, really."
Waddell added: "It has been a tough opening couple of games; Bonnyrigg Rose are a good side, a typical junior side if you like, and Berwick are a decent enough team, but for me we're a better side than them on our day.
"Our biggest challenge has been probably dealing with the injuries that we've had recently, and the Covid situation, so I think we had seven out yesterday, which was a disaster in terms of trying to keep the squad together."
