Brave 6-year-old placed teddies around her mum during 999 call that saved her life

Good Morning Britain fans were brought to tears by adorable six-year-old hero Isla Harrison, who saved her mum after an agonising fall.

The Harrison family spoke to hosts Adil Ray and Charlotte Hawkins about Isla's amazing bravery.

Isla called 999 and spoke to the responder about her mother's condition, while revealing she had assisted her by placing cushion and teddies around her.

Her mum Suzann, who has a degenerative back condition, had fallen from a step Isla's uses, to the tiled kitchen floor and was so much pain she could not move.

Isla called her father and then called 999, speaking to a responder named Hannah, who also appeared on the show.

She made the calls on her mother's phone after holding it up to her face to unlock the facial recognition.

She told the responder: She fell on the step what I use and she's fallen on the tiled floor and hurt her back...She can't get up.

Isla has been lauded as a hero for her bravery and quick-thinking (ITV)

She added: "I've put cushions around her and I've put some of my teddies near her."

Isla revealed her favourite TV show is BBC's Ambulance, a documentary about paramedics, and she wants to become a nurse when she grows up.
