A brave mum threatened to stab a "dirty little man" as he tried to snatch her pram among Morrisons shoppers.
The woman claims she managed to protect her baby during the horrifying ordeal and threatened to stab the pram snatcher with her "insulin".
She says the incident took place at around 8pm on Wednesday near a Morrisons supermarket in Newcastle Under Lyme, Staffordshire.
In a Facebook warning to other parents, the mum said: "Watch out by Milehouse, Morrisons people.
"Some dirty little man tried to snatch my pram off me but I defended my baby and threatened to stab him with my insulin if he didn't get his dirty hands off.
"The police have been informed and he went into the store so he will be on CCTV scummy man."
Police say the incident happened at around 8pm on Wednesday near the Morrisons store.
It is thought the man was last seen entering the Morrisons store after the attack.
A Staffordshire Police spokesperson said: "We were notified of an attempted pram snatch by Morrisons, on Lower Milehouse Lane. Local officers are looking into it."
Officers are appealing for information. No description has been released of the man.
