Hailey Bieber has bravely discussed how difficult her first year of marriage to heartthrob Justin Bieber had been.
The stunning supermodel, who is 23, opened up on the stress they were going through together at the time in a candid interview with Elle magazine.
She admitted that Justin, 25, began experiencing multiple health issues - but doctors couldn't find the underlying issue.
The singing sensation was struggling with a private battle, according to Hailey. On the brink of tears, she said: "He was really sick. He has Lyme disease, and he was dealing with a bunch of medical stuff. We didn't have a diagnosis.

"And it was hard because everybody from the outside was being super mean and judgmental, saying he looked like he was on drugs, saying how unhealthy he looked, when in truth, he was not healthy and we didn't know why."
The Biebers first married in a private civil ceremony in autumn 2018. They wanted to get married a second time with a larger celebration, which officially took place in September 2019.
The cover model explained she didn't think a second wedding was a good idea at first amidst all the troubles the pair were dealing with.

She revealed: "I felt like putting a wedding in the middle of all of that would be really hectic and stressful."
Hailey began to feel pressure as his new wife, as she felt helpless towards finding out what was wrong with her husband.
"It was months of me being a new wife trying to help him figure out what was wrong and what was going on," she confessed.

Justin recently revealed he was diagnosed with Lyme disease and is currently being treated for the illness while finishing production for his new album.
However Hailey revealed he is now "perfectly healthy". She said: "But going through that and then trying to be like, 'So where does our wedding fit into this?' didn't feel like the vibe at all."
Hailey revealed her husband's health issues forced the marital vow "in sickness and in health" to take immediate effect.
She shared: "We went straight into figuring out the hard stuff. Because you never know what can happen with someone's health. When you don't know what’s happening, it's really scary. And then you have the opinions of everybody from the outside, and it just sucks."
She described her singer husband as "an amazing man and such a good partner to go through life with".
