Brave diners can have a Halloween meal in the London Dungeon's torture chambers

You're going to need a strong stomach for the London Dungeon's new dining experience.

The popular attraction is launching a new Halloween -inspired menu, which diners will be eating in dungeon's torture chamber and anatomy theatre.

It doesn't exactly sound like the most appetising setting.

However, brave foodies can tuck into a three-course meal at the Dungeon, as they make their way through the Torture Chamber to the streets where Jack the Ripper lurks, finishing off with a meal in the Anatomy Theatre.

Oh, and you can expect appearances from the likes of a torturer and plague doctor. Lovely.

It's not just the London Dungeon that's hosting the experience - there will also be a similar offering at the Edinburgh Dungeon.

The Halloween themed meal will feature food whipped up by the Hard Rock Café, while those who fancy a tipple can choose from a plethora of cocktails courtesy of Jägermeister’s master mixologists.

The experience won't be open to the general public, but instead only one pair of diners will get to experience the Halloween meal at each dungeon.

If you want to enter the competition, simply head to your chosen dungeon's website - you can apply for the London Dungeon one here, or the Edinburgh Dungeon one here.

You'll need to apply by midday on the 31st October 2020, when the competition closes.

The best part is that there's no terrifying price tag - the experience will be completely free for winners (although it's worth noting your travel costs won't be included).

Winners will be contacted on the evening of the 31st October via email and telephone. Make sure to keep an eye out, as you'll need to respond within 48 hours, or you could risk the prize being given to someone else.

Don't be disheartened if you don't bag one of the places - there's still heaps of Halloween themed fun to be had in the UK.

For example, you could book a stay at a creepy haunted castle with its own prison pit and 'murder hole', or go exploring some of Britain's most spine-chilling locations from haunted homes to villages renowned for their supernatural offering.
