Brave dad Andrew McGinley launches news clothing brand in memory of tragic kids Conor, Darragh and Carla

A father who lost his three children when they died tragically 18 months ago is honouring their memory with a fun range of clothing.

Andrew McGinley, from Newcastle, Co Dublin, lost Conor (9), Darragh, (7), and three-year-old Carla on January 24 last year when they were smothered by their mother Deirdre.

Mr McGinley — who created the Conor’s Clip social media account on Twitter and YouTube to remember his children’s fun-loving antics — is to launch a range of bright coloured T-shirts, hoodies for children and adults.

“Missing something from your Autumn/Winter wardrobe?” he posted.

“Coming soon to a website near you, the Conor’s Clips T-shirts, hoodies and Varsity jackets. Just going through final testing, I’ll keep you all posted.”

The range, so far, is to include red, green and blue.

One follower reacted saying: “Great idea Andrew. Cool colours. Looking forward to seeing the final products.Wonderful, they’re going to be a great seller!”

The children were found dead at their home just before 8pm in January last year.

Their mother was found not guilty of their murders by reason of insanity and was committed to the Central Mental Hospital last month.

A Central Criminal Court judge made the order after a jury returned the special verdicts following the 44-year-old’s trial.
