Brandon Williams is set to be awarded a new deal by Manchester United just eight months after signing his last.
The 19-year-old has broken into the Red Devils first team this season and the club want to give him a new deal that reflects that.
Williams currently earns £4,000-a-week at Old Trafford but is set for a major pay rise, reports the Athletic.
His form has seen Ole Gunnar Solskjaer often play a five-man defence which allows him to pick Williams and Luke Shaw.
The former Southampton man earns £190,000-a-week.
Solskjaer has been hugely impressed with the teenager's efforts this term having given him his debut in the Carabao Cup win over Rochdale.
His first Premier League outing came shortly after when he came on as a substitute in a 1-1 draw with Liverpool.
All in all Williams has played 26 times this season with nine of those coming in the Premier League.
He scored his first and only professional goal during the 3-3 draw at Sheffield United back in November.
Solskjaer said earlier this year: “His hunger is a lesson for everyone who wants to be a footballer, the attitude he’s showing. It’ll be up to him, myself and the club to keep him that hungry. I don’t expect him to change because he’s got the heart for it.
“He’s been absolutely outstanding since he came in. Every challenge we’ve put in front of him he’s tackled head-on.”
Despite his relatively minimal salary when compared to his team-mates Williams recently surprised his dad on his birthday by purchasing him a new Mercedes.
