After agreeing to sign a one-year deal with the Oakland Raiders, former Denver Broncos linebacker Brandon Marshall posted the following message on his official Instagram page:
Denver!! It’s been a beautiful 6 years. A lot of ups, and downs. But more importantly, we brought a championship to the city! I’ll always Love Denver it’s where I received my first opportunity to show that I could play. And I’ll always Love and cherish all of the relationships I’ve built! Thank you for being good to me, as I’ve always given you my heart and been good to you. Much Love, B.Marsh
Marshall, 29, signed with the Broncos in 2013 after spending two offseasons with the Jacksonville Jaguars. He emerged as a starter in 2014 and was a key part of the team’s Super Bowl-winning roster in 2015.
Marshall has recorded 419 tackles and 6.5 sacks in his career. Now playing for a division rival, he will face Denver twice in 2019.
