Branding agency makes five hires and names new project director

Scottish branding agency Tayburn, which boasts clients including Scottish Rugby, Skyscanner and FNZ, has strengthened its digital team on the back of increased activity.

The Edinburgh-based business, which is celebrating its 40th year in business, has taken on five new hires including developer Arnoldas Gatavynas, digital marketing manager Sarah Watt and digital project manager Katherine Parkinson as well promoting Alex Dalton to projects director.

Joint managing director Malcolm Stewart said: “Our strategic hires align with our growth plans and also relate closely to our digital offering which covers digital products, digital experiences and digital marketing.”

Work Tayburn has been involved with this year includes launching Scottish Rugby’s new website and a digital campaign for Boë gin featuring Paloma Faith.

The firm, which also works with the likes of Heineken and Network Rail, said it is set to reveal a series of new project wins over the next few months.

In January the business appointed industry stalwart Ricky Stevens as creative director. Stevens had previously worked as creative director of leading agencies Blonde Digital and more recently The Lane Agency delivering campaigns for leading brands including T in the Park and the 2014 Commonwealth Games.
