Brandin Cooks placed in concussion protocol

Brandin Cooks made a spectacular one-handed catch late in Thursday night’s game against the Seahawks, but he unfortunately exited the game right after that play.

He was evaluated for a concussion and would not return, and on Friday, Sean McVay announced that Cooks has been placed in the concussion protocol.

McVay did share some good news, though, saying that Cooks has been asymptomatic.

Cooks has a history of concussions so this is a tenuous situation for him. The team will play it safe as always, especially given his past head injuries.

Cooks has extra time to recover with the Rams not playing until next Sunday.
