Brandin Cooks suffers concussion in 1st quarter, ruled out for game

Brandin Cooks was forced to leave Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals after taking a hit to the helmet on a pass over the middle. He was evaluated for a concussion and was ruled out for the remainder of the game.

Cooks attempted to make a catch on a pass over the middle of the field, but after initially pulling it in, the hit to his helmet jarred the ball loose. This is the second time Cooks had to leave a game with a possible concussion this season.

Cooks was in the concussion protocol after the Rams’ loss to the Seahawks earlier this season, but he progressed quickly enough to play the following week.
