Aldi and Lidl launch exciting new coffee flavours and they cost as little as 8p per cup

Two brand-new flavoured coffees have hit two of the UK's most popular discount supermarkets and both cost less than £2.

For those hoping to cut back on the cost of luxury coffees in cafés, this could be the answer with one costing as little as 8p per cup - and there are plenty of flavours to choose from.

Sweet-toothed caffeine enthusiasts can pick up Jaffa cake, caramel popcorn, Irish cream and Hazelnut flavoured coffee in both Aldi and Lidl this week.

Aldi is now selling Nescafé Gold Chocolate & Caramelised Hazelnut Latte and shoppers are obsessed, with some saying it ‘tastes like a melted Ferrero Rocher in a mug’.

Lidl is also adding to their instant coffee flavours with more choices from the Beanies range to help shoppers recreate cafe favourites at home.

One shopper said it tastes like a melted Ferrero Rocher (Aldi)

The Nescafé flavour, which is available exclusively at Aldi cost £1.49 and it is causing a social media stir after Facebook page Kev’s Snack News & Reviews shared a photo of the special edition coffee pouches with its followers.

Hundreds commented on the post, with many saying they need to try it now. One person wrote: “I need this."

While another wrote: “Omg SO getting these”.

Beneath the post, another shopper wrote: “Really really lovely, taste like a melted Ferrero Rocher in a mug”.

A fourth added: “OMG… I need to find these!!! May take the spot of the praline one I’m missing!”.

Shoppers just need to add hot water to the pouches, which combine the finest coffee beans and milk with sensational flavours to create a delicious drink.

Nescafé Gold Chocolate & Caramelized Hazelnut Special Edition is available in Aldi stores nationwide now.

Lidl are expanding their range with more Beanies flavours (Lidl)

And as of Thursday, August 26 stores in Scotland will stock the new Beanies Instant Coffees assorted variety pack that cost £1.99.

Each pack comes in 50g and the store says this averages out at 8p per coffee- great for those watching their spending.

This sweet, drinkable treat combines tangy orange with smooth chocolate flavours and notes of sweet sponge in its Jaffa cake flavour.

Shoppers will also be able to enjoy the flavour of Irish Cream coffee as well as the caramel goodness of everyone’s favourite cinema snack with the delectable Caramel Popcorn flavour.

Those looking to try something fruity will want to check out the White Chocolate & Raspberry flavour that tastes as good as it sounds.

The entire Beanies flavoured coffee range is sugar-free and low-calorie, as well as being vegan-friendly, making them perfect for a mid-morning treat or afternoon pick me up.
