The Cow and Sow - a 'steak restaurant with a twist' - to open in Bristol city centre

A new restaurant is opening in place of former bar and chophouse Graze - which was recently listed for sale at over £100,000.

The Cow & Sow will be an 'all-day contemporary chophouse' opening on January 14, 2022, in the prime location just off Queen Square.

The new restaurant is described as 'a beautiful bar, restaurant and chophouse' which is 'perfect for all-day dining'.

The restaurant is the first of its kind for owner Mark Warburton, however it is said to be the 'next step' for his family business, the OHH Pub Company, as he brings what he calls a 'new and exciting concept' to central Bristol.

Presenting as the perfect location for weekend brunch with friends, lazy afternoons with a glass of fizz in hand, pre-theatre dinners and cocktails or special occasions, The Cow & Sow promises to be Bristolians' 'new home from home'.

Speaking on the local food scene, the restaurant's owner said: "I have been a huge fan of the Bristol dining scene and hope to fill a gap in the market for a steak restaurant with a twist.

"No big brand, no heirs and graces… simply great!"

The Cow & Sow also promises to use only the best quality ingredients & produce from the local area for its all-day dining - featuring wonderfully presented cuts of steak and pork.

The nose to tail menu is still in the works, as well as an extensive cocktail list & a beautifully presented wine list.

Adding a little more excitement, the Cow & Sow is also working on their very own beer 'The Cow & Sow pale ale' in collaboration with the recently rebranded Hop Union Brewery, which is owned by the owner's uncle.

Keen foodies can make their bookings in advance on the Cow and Sow website.
