A man has been rushed to hospital in a “life-threatening condition” after he was found with knife wounds in an industrial estate in Braintree, Essex, in the early hours of Thursday.
The victim, who is in his 40s, was discovered about 1.30am. Ambulance crews attended the scene before alerting Essex police.
An area around the Enterprise Court Industrial Estate remains closed off as Essex police continue to investigate.
Detective Inspector Scott Kingsnorth issued a warning for people to avoid the area while police investigated what happened.
He said: “If you are an employee of the industrial park or have plans to travel there this morning, we ask that you please avoid the area and make alternative arrangements where possible.
“If you have any information that may help our investigation, or dash cam or ring doorbell footage from the surrounding areas, please get in contact with us.”
