Brainteaser tasks those with 'high IQ' to spot mistake in five seconds

The internet offers users a wide variety of entertainment, ranging from games to films and puzzles.

If you don't have time to complete a quest or watch a full movie, brainteasers are a great way to pass the time when you only have a bit to spare. This latest brainteaser will keep you occupied while working boosting your thinking skills.

We previously challenged people to find a missing gladiator's sword, or find the odd cat out that's playing with a different toy.

Now our latest brainteaser tasks users with locating the picture's mistake. Published by Bright Side, this puzzle takes on a chilly theme that will make you think outside the box.

The above animation sets a snowy scene in the continent, as a man sweeps excess snow off his sled, no doubt preparing to take a ride. Meanwhile, a woman kneels down beside an adorable penguin.

They are surrounded by snow filled trees, a wooden cabin and a large North Pole sign - and your job is to spot the error in the busy image, reports the Mirror. Those with all the time in the world will no doubt be able to find it, but the real challenge is to spot it in five seconds.

According to study website JagranJosh, if you manage if within the timeframe you could be on the higher end of the IQ scale. If you struggle to find it after five seconds, don't worry, you can still redeem yourself.

Do you need a hint? Take a look at the bottom left side of the picture, in the region of the woman with the red coat. It might not be as obvious as you think – you're looking for something that doesn't belong in the North Pole.

The answer is the penguin, a species of flightless marine bird that can't be found at the North Pole as they live in the Southern hemisphere – the South Pole. Their habitat generally features oceans and coasts in remote regions where there are fewer predators.
