Edinburgh software firm Brainnwave has secured a major coup after agreeing a partnership with financial intelligence firm Fitch Solutions.
Fitch, which provides data, analytical tools and risk services for investors worldwide, has agreed to integrate its research into different countries and industries with Ossian, Brainnwave's global data intelligence platform.
Ossian collates data from hundreds of thousands of sources, then prioritises its findings which are then used by businesses to find better ways to compete. Fitch Solutions specialises in macroeconomic insights that help clients to mitigate risks from investing in overseas debt and fixed income markets.
The deal means more customers worldwide will be able to access Fitch's research online.
Bill Eggers, global head of strategic partnerships at Fitch Solutions, said: “'Broadening the availability of our leading Country Risk and Industry Research via Brainnwave’s Ossian platform will benefit subscribers with new and deeper insights into the macroeconomic environment. We are pleased that this partnership will also bring Fitch Solutions’ content to an even broader audience.”
Brainnwave now hopes the same software can be put to use in partnerships with intelligence providers in other sectors including energy and commodities.
