New Braga boss Ruben Amorim led his side to a stunning 7-1 win in his first match as manager then immediately pledged to get better before they face Rangers in the Europa League.
Steven Gerrard 's men face the Portuguese dark horses in the Last 32 tie of the competition next month, with the first leg at Ibrox .
Amorin took charge of Braga for the first time since he was surprisingly appointed last month and couldn't have wished for a better start after his side crushed Belenenses 7-1 away from home in a league match.
But hard-to-please Amorin insists his men must improve.
He said: "It was a perfect day for me, but we have to get better in all areas.
"I've only just started and I see a lot of areas open for improvement.
"Remember, the big problem with this team is consistency and that's why we have fallen down the league table. I know we have good players at the club and it's a case of proving that to them.
"We've done a lot of work on the defensive side of things, but to score seven goals away from home was brilliant from us.
"The test will come as the season goes on and we have games in the league and in Europe too."
But Amorin was disappointed he was restricted on coaching in his own dug-out because of a lack of coaching qualifications.
He said: "I am the same person, I just don't have the level four badge. It's very disappointing I have to get others to shout instructions at the players."
