Bradley Welsh funeral: Family urge 'anyone who knew him' to attend as details are released

The family of Bradley Welsh want "anyone who knew him" to attend his funeral next month.

The 48-year-old died after being shot outside his flat on Edinburgh's Chester Street on 17 April.

Details of his funeral have now been released, and the family are inviting people along to pay their respects.

Holyrood Boxing Gym, which was owned by Mr Welsh, tweeted to say that the funeral will take place at Mortonhall on Friday, 7 June at 2pm.

They added: "The family wish for anyone who knew Bradley to please come along, to pay their respects and say their goodbyes."

Edinburgh Live reported earlier this month that Sean Orman (28) had appeared in court charged with the murder of Mr Welsh.

He was also charged with the attempted murder of a 48-year-old man, the serious assault of a 22-year-old man and firearms offences.
