Bradley Walsh walks away as Chase contestant makes big blunder

Bradley Walsh was left in disbelief following a contestant's answer to a question, walking away from his podium.

Ed, Kirsten, Jane and Matthew took on Darragh Ennis today, in the hope they could win a huge cash prize.

Up first was Ed, who managed a respectable £3000, before being eliminated from the show.

Kirsten faired better, earning £7000 in her cash builder, but struggled with a tough set of questions in the head to head.

Jane matched Kirsten's cash builder, earning £7000, but if she wanted to have a chance at taking the prize money home, she'd first have to beat The Menace.

After a touch-and-go start, Jane picked up, but was left in a one question shootout.

Host Bradley Walsh asked: "The term 'suave' comes from a Latin word with what meaning?"

The options were either sweet, sour or salty.

Jane, unfortunately, chose the wrong answer of sour, leaving Bradley dumbfounded.

He said: "It's a Latin word that means sweet."

Darragh joked: "He does not know this."

But Bradley knew the answer all along.

He walked away from the table shaking his head and said: "This is tough to take after all that work."
