Bradley Walsh throws hands in the air and stops The Chase after hilarious discovery

The hit ITV quiz show The Chase was temporarily halted after host Bradley Walsh made a hilarious discovery.

A team of four contestants taking on quiz ace Jenny 'The Vixen' Ryan bore the names 'Ginger, Roger, Fred and Alistair'.

Minutes into the popular ITV show, Bradley interrupted proceedings as he twigged on the team names' connection to world famous dancing greats Ginger Rogers and Fred Astaire, the Liverpool Echo reports.

Bradley said: "Hold the line caller, I've got it, Ginger, Roger, Fred and 'Astaire'. I've got it.

"Wow that's great, excellent."

Imogen tweeted: "Well done brad, you’re awake."

Luke said: "Bit slow Bradley?"

And Kat tweeted: "Bradley’s reaction to figuring out the name theme on his own tonight is priceless."
