Bradley Walsh threatens to leave This Morning studio in cheeky dig at Cliff Richard

Bradley Walsh poked fun at Sir Cliff Richard's This Morning performance with a cheeky dig on the show’s Christmas Special episode.

Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield graced our living rooms on Sunday for a festive instalment of the ITV morning show on Christmas Day.

The telly favourites were joined by their ITV co-stars Dermot O'Leary and Alison Hammond, Rochelle Humes and Gyles Brandreth, while Bradley Walsh and Sir Cliff Richard appeared on the sofa for interviews about their Christmas plans.

The Chase presenter Bradley, 62, expressed his shock at the length of his festive interview, before revealing he was only on the show to get out of chopping potatoes for his wife.

The Doctor Who star then went on to mock Cliff Richard's appearance on the programme when the hosts asked if he wanted to stay to watch his performance.

As she wrapped up the interview, Holly said: "Happy Christmas, Happy New Year.”

A baffled Bradley, 62, replied: "Are we finished?," before Holly replied: "We are done unless you wanted to say something else?"

"I told Donna I was coming to see you, I'm supposed to be peeling the potatoes," Bradley quipped.

"It's not even worth my time," the presenter joked as Holly added: "You've made a lot of people very happy."

"I can't believe you've done that," Bradley hit back. "I've come all the way here."

"Stay to the end and watch Cliff," Phillip suggested.

Poking fun at the singer, Bradley told them: "I am going to peel the potatoes.

"Where is Cliff? It has got to be Christmas if Cliff is here. You had him cooking?"

Holly and Phillip confirmed he had been with a nod. Bradley asked: "What was he cooking?"

But Bradley looked confused as he discovered Sir Cliff was cooking gravy.

He said: "You know he lives in Portugal, he lives in Portugal and you've got him to cook gravy. What is the matter with you lot?"

They game show host went on to mock the singer with an impression of his voice, leaving Alison Hammond in fits of laughter.
