Bradley Walsh stunned by answer to Welsh question on Beat the Chasers

Bradley Walsh hosted another intense Beat the Chasers episode on Wednesday night.

The spin-off of the popular quiz sees contestants go head-to-head with not just one, but five Chasers, in order to win big cash prizes. During last night's show Bradley was left stunned by the answer to a Welsh language question.

The presenter asked contestant Caroline: "The Welsh term for a peach, 'eirin gwlanog', translates into English as what?"

The multiple choice answered offered wooly pear, wooly apple and wooly plum, with Caroline taking a punt on the latter.

"What do you reckon it is Caroline?" Bradley asked the contestant.

Responding she explained: "I have no idea so I'm going to guess at C."

"Wooly plum?!" a perplexed Bradley asked, before double checking: "A peach?"

The answer was of course correct leaving Bradley stunned.

"Oh I can't believe it," he said before Caroline admitted it was a total guess.
