The Chase viewers were far from happy with Bradley Walsh as the latest episode aired.
Four new constants were welcomed on to the show to try and beat the Chaser and walk away with a cash prize.
It was, however, only Antony, Claire and Mike who made it through to the final chase after getting past Chaser Paul Sinha.
The trio racked up a decent £18,000 and managed to get a solid 18 questions right to get them ahead of the Sinnerman.
Sadly, they walked away without any money after being caught by Paul with just nine seconds to spare.
But fans of the show were furious at Bradley for allowing one of The Sinnerman's answers to be allowed, but not one of the team's who made a similar error.
Bradley asked Paul during his final round: "The legal term for an ownerless item is a waif and what?"
He replied: "Strafe," but the common phrase is waif and stray.
It came later, after Bradley asked the team: "What was the first UK song to win the Eurovision song contest?"
The team answered "Puppets On A String," to which Bradley replied: "You said Puppets On A String? Is wrong. It's puppet, singular. Not puppets. I'm so sorry. That's how it is."
So viewers quickly took to social media to express their anger.
"'Waif and Strafe' - Correct. Puppets on a string - Incorrect. Beside myself with rage here. #TheChase," fumed one.
Another said: "Stunningly unimpressed Bradley!!!! Getting more and more ridiculous !!!! VERY POOR!!!! #TheChase."
"Sorry, but giving Paul #Straif and disallowing #Puppets has ruined #TheChase," a third argued.
A fourth added: "#theChase pleased to see outcry about strafe and puppets!! They need to issue an apology at least."
"Hey Brad, you "accepted" #TheSinnerman strafe but wouldn't give the team Puppets instead of Puppet... hmm! #doublestandards @ITVChase #thechase," another said.
