Bradley Walsh series dropped from schedule in ITV shake-up ahead of Boris Johnson speech

Bradley Walsh's popular TV show Bradley & Barney Walsh: Breaking Dad has been pushed back a whole week to avoid clashing with Boris Johnson's latest press conference tonight.

The family show was set to air new episodes starting this Monday at 8pm on ITV, but the channel has announced it will be delayed and now start on January 11.

Taking to Twitter, ITV wrote: "Schedule change Bradley & Barney Walsh: Breaking Dad will now start at 8pm Monday 11th January."

Eager fans who were patiently waiting for its return took to the comments section to moan about the sudden cancellation.

One wrote: "What is the point of televising Boris Johnson's speech? Nobody's listening to him by now, so I'd just carry on as normal."

"Something good has come out of this announcement then," a second jokes.

A third added: "Was looking forward to this tonight."

Bradley recently reflected on his experiences during the show in an ITV special.

He looked back at their epic sky-diving moment, and it appeared to be emotional.

The proud dad's lip began to quiver and tears filled his eyes as he watched his son bravely leap from the plane at 120mph.

“That's very emotional isn't it,” he said while wiping away the tears.

"Watching that back and seeing you jump out the plane...

"You only see my arm jolt, but I thought I'd made a massive lunge to grab hold of you to stop you running out in front of a car."

It's back next Monday (ITV)

Bradley admitted it was one of the most terrifying experiences of his life, saying: "I was so scared, I was so scared."
