Bradley Walsh says 'we're in trouble' after The Chase error

Bradley Walsh declared 'we're in trouble' after a contestant on The Chase was eliminated.

Tonight, Bob, Bernadette, Rebecca and Kwasi were all taking on Anne Hegerty.

The first contestant, Bob, started well, adding £6,000 to the prize pot.

Bernadette, a keen cricket fan, did equally as well, bagging £5,000 in her cash builder.

However, things went awry, when host Bradley asked: "The word 'unguis' refers to what part of an animal?"

The correct answer was 'claw' but Bernadette had selected 'fur'.

Her wrong answer saw Bernadette eliminated from the show.

Bradley then said he worried for the team as Bernadette's exit left a big hole to fill.

He turned to the third contestant, Rebecca and said: "What do you know about cricket, Rebecca?"

Rebecca replied: "Erm... could fit on a postage stamp."

Bradley asked: "What do you know about football?"

Rebecca said: "Erm...is there something smaller than a postage stamp?"

Bradley said: "We're in trouble. See you after the break."

However, Bradley need not worry as Rebecca performed well in her cash builder and proceeded to the head to head.

The 31-year-old opted for the low offer of £1,000 when facing The Governess.

It proved to be a wise decision as she joined Bob in the final.
