Bradley Walsh shocked viewers at The Chase by having a savage dig at Piers Morgan, but many agreed with him.
Piers has also been something of a controversial figure but even more so during the coronavirus lockdown as he has divided opinions with his treatment of MPs during heated interviews on Good Morning Britain.
His name cropped up during Tuesday's episode of The Chase as host Bradley introduced Shaun Wallace, better known to millions of viewers as The Dark Destroyer.
The Mirror reports that Bradley said: "The Dark Destroyer - as unpopular as Piers Morgan at a... well, just about anything, to be honest."
The jab didn't go unnoticed by viewers, who took to Twitter to comment.
One fan tweeted: "Piers Morgan how relevant, most hated man in the UK. #thechase."
And sticking the knife in, another wrote: "When one of the nicest men in showbiz says 'as unpopular as Piers Morgan at a... well, just about anything, to be honest' then @piersmorgan should take note. His ego won’t let him of course."
Piers caused some controversy on Wednesday morning when he clashed with Doctor Hilary Jones in a heated debate about care homes.
