Bradley Walsh left scratching his head over 'obvious' question on ITV's The Chase

Bradley Walsh was left dumbfounded by a question on tonight's episode of The Chase, but viewers said the answer was "obvious".

Student Daniel went up against Chaser Paul "the Sinnerman" Sinha after an impressive cash builder round which saw him earn £6,000.

To take it back to his teammates and add to the jackpot up for grabs in the final round, the gap-year student had one final question to answer.

Bradley asked: "Which pop star admitted to having once phoned his agent to get him to stop the wind blowing outside his hotel room?"

The multiple choice answers were Elton John, Robbie Williams or Justin Bieber.

Daniel selected Justin Bieber, to which Bradley uttered his common phrase: "It's got to be."

The correct answer was Elton John, which left Bradley flabbergasted - much to the amusement of the audience.

The Sinnerman knew the correct answer, eliminating Daniel from the show.

But viewers were shocked by Bradley and Daniel's thinking.

On Twitter, one viewer said: "Could ONLY be Elton John if you know anything at all about his past tantrums over absolutely nothing …"

Jas commented: "Why's it got to be Bieber, Brad? Elton John was the obvious answer".

Another viewer said: "Of course it was Elton. Bradley, shut up."

Bobby said: "So obvious it was Elton ffs hes by far the biggest diva".

Rik added: "Gosh - Elton John isn't famous for having Diva strops all the time is he... F*****g obvious!"

*The Chase airs on ITV on weekdays at 5pm
