Bradley Walsh left raging as he loses bet against The Chase's Mark Labbett

The Chase host Bradley Walsh was left fuming as he lost out on a bet against brainbox Mark Labbett.

The ITV gameshow returned on Wednesday night for another episode, and things got heated.

Chaser Mark, also known as The Beast, decided to place a bet on how he predicted one of the contestants named Delon was going to play.

Delon chose to go up against Mark, 55, in a bid to outsmart him and take home a cash prize.

Thanks to Mark, poor Delon didn't manage to get a word in before the game started as the Chaser rudely interrupted.

Clearly feeling very cocky, Mark said to Bradley: "Before he says a word, I bet you an English pound he takes the high offer."

"OK, one pound. You're on," Bradley answered, before turning to Delon and asking: "What will it be?"

The higher offer was £65,000, with £3,000 and £1,000 being the lowest.

"I want to go for the 65," Delon laughed, much to Bradley's surprise.

The TV presenter rolled his eyes and shook his head as he realised he owed Mark £1.

Cheering with victory, Mark shouted: "He hates paying out!"

"Well, I'm going to find that pound," Bradley said.

"I can pay for it," Delon joked.

However things took a turn for the worse as Delon and his teammates lost out to Mark.

Sadly, they had £65,000 taken off them after a joint effort to try and beat the Chaser.

Mark said smugly: "I've gotta say thank you to Delon, because you've made me a pound."

*The Chase continues tomorrow at 5pm on ITV.
