Bradley Walsh leaves Chase viewers gobsmacked as he makes startling 'Friends' admission

The Chase fans were left stunned after presenter Bradley Walsh made a shocking admission about a popular TV show.

Four new contestants were welcomed to the ITV show in a bid to win a sum of cash this evening (November 3).

Up second to face Chaser Mark Labbett was Annie, and one of her questions caused Bradley to make a confession that shocked viewers.

The host read the question: "In TV's 'Friends', what excuse did Ross often give as to why he cheated on Rachel?"

Annie correctly answered 'we were on a break', as did the Chaser.

But Bradley then admitted: "I've never seen an episode of it."

Viewers were taken aback by the comment, with some taking to Twitter to share their thoughts.

One viewer said: "Does Bradley even have a television?"

Tasha said: "Did Bradley just say he’s never seen an episode of friends?"

"Brad hasn't seen Friends? Blimey, you haven't lived Brad. Best sitcom ever! #TheChase," wrote Elizabeth.

"What have you seen Bradley? #TheChase," said Kurtis.

Another wrote: "I think Bradley’s TV is stuck in the dark ages!! #TheChase"

"Bradley has never seen an episode of @FriendsTV #thechase," wrote Simon along with a shocked face emoji.

But some weren't too surprised with Bradley's comment, with Polly saying: "Never seen an episode of Friends either."

Steve added: "I've never watched friends."

The Chase continues weekdays on ITV at 5pm.
