Bradley Walsh issues warning from The Chase dressing room

Bradley Walsh has issued an emotional warning from his The Chase dressing room.

The much-loved TV presenter was clearly angry as he urged his followers to be careful.

The former Doctor Who star has been absent on social media for some weeks, but broke his silence to deliver a message to his "Instas".

In a video posted on Instagram earlier today, he gave his followers a quick tour of his dressing room, saying: "Morning Instas, I'm so sorry I haven't been posting for a while.

"I'm in my dressing room at The Chase. There you go, [there's] Audrey Hepburn [on the wall]. Charlie Chaplin there, and my favourite film, that photo on the wall, is Casablanca."

Moving on to more serious matters, Bradley continued: "I need to speak to you all about scam advertisements that are going around and saying that myself and other people in our industry are supporting them.

"We are not. We've actually signed a letter the day before yesterday set up by Martin Lewis from the money programme.

"We're sending it to the Government. Please don't fall for these scams, I would not endorse anything like that.

"I think it's some sort of money scam and also CBD oil. I would not advocate any of that or advertise it at all. Please don't think it's me."

He then implored fans to read the letter, which he shared in a follow-up Instagram post.

The letter asks the Government to "protect the victims of scam adverts... saving livelihoods and possibly also lives".

Other celebrities who have signed the letter include Holly Willoughby, Lorraine Kelly, and Martin Lewis - who earlier this week said he has been "left in tears" over the "scam epidemic".

The finance guru is calling on the Prime Minister to clampdown on the hoax adverts in the upcoming Online Safety bill.

The new bill aims to regulate online content, but Martin has slammed the decision to omit paid scam advertising from the proposals.
