The first contestant on The Chase tonight called himself a coward after making a very unpopular move.
Rory, 31, chatted to host Bradley Walsh before he went up against The Beast, Mark Labbett, who was tonight's Chaser.
Author Rory from Dublin said he enjoyed boxing and fighting outside of writing and said he planned to get Italian lessons and driving lessons with any winnings from the show as he planned to drive from Milan to Sicily, speaking Italian, eating and fighting.
Rory had a very impressive cash builder of £6,000 and his team encouraged him to take that amount, but instead he chose to go for the low offer of £1,000.
He said: "I'd rather be a coward for £1,000 than a poor man with nothing."
Bradley looked shocked and The Beast said: "There's a few people watching the telly who might be screaming now."
And many viewers took to social media to slam Rory's decision.
Mace Windu said: " Bradley can barely conceal his disgust with Rory's decision to take the low offer."
Jack said: "When Brad’s slagging you off, you know you’ve made the wrong decision."
Mary said: "Seriously what a coward."
And Aishah Dawud said: "One thing I can't stand in life is a coward."

Rory got back with ease and The Beast said he thought more people in seat one should take the low offer.
But Bradley disagreed and said: "Yeah but not a good player like that, someone who is around £6,000."
Rory wasn't the only player that went low however, as the next two contestants also opted for the low offer.
